Advocacy is a core part of the our strategy for 2024-27. Through our developing voice for advocacy, we seek to serve people in the greatest need, and to help shape a fairer society for all.

Our five advocacy priorities for 2024-27 are:

  • Child and Family Poverty

  • Adult Social Care

  • Refugees and Asylum Seekers

  • Inclusion and Isolation

  • Housing and Homelessness

By March 2027, we will have produced a comprehensive piece of work that covers each area. Advocacy is key to our Vincentian Values, in particular Acting in solidarity for justice; the Vincentian Charism involves challenging the systems that create or deepen poverty.

By identifying and challenging systemic issues we seek to alleviate the strain felt by people in most need.
