Vincentian Values Week
Celebrating the Vincentian values, which have inspired thousands of people to offer a caring and compassionate service for over 400 years.
About
Vincentian Values Week is an annual campaign designed to celebrate and further deepen the values that have driven the charitable works of the Vincentian Family since 1617.
Events taking place throughout the week are open to anyone who works in a Vincentian organisation and like-minded individuals who have an interest in building a better understanding of the wider Vincentian Family and putting our shared values into practice.
Our Vincentian Manifesto
This year’s theme builds on the manifesto we set forth ahead of the general election earlier this year. Highlighting some of the most pressing issues facing our society today, we will hear from key figures across the sector who are helping to lead the response to a wide range of poverties and needs across the UK.
Topics covered throughout the week will include:
Tackling child and family poverty
Improving adult social care
Addressing homelessness and housing
Reducing isolation through improving inclusion
Responding to refugees and asylum seekers
Keep an eye out on our website and our social media channels, with speakers and further event details soon to be confirmed.

Book a VIVAT course
This course is an exciting half-day session run by our VIVAT Co-ordinator. Attendees leave the session feeling inspired with a better understanding of the wider Vincentian Family of which they are a part and the importance and context of our shared values.
The 400-year-old Vincentian values are inspired by our co-founders, Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Louise de Marillac, and are very much still vibrant across the world today.
To help you get involved in the week, we have provided a range of documents and free downloadables for you to share with your network and on your social media channels.
We have a range of speakers from across the globe ready to inform, educate and inspire you this Vincentian Values Week. Visit our events page to save your spot.
