24 Daughters of Charity in Ukraine serving on the front line

There are 24 Daughters of Charity living in Ukraine and organising relief for civilians impacted by the attack from Russia. The Daughters are working with the Priests of the Mission and other members of the Vincentian Family to provide urgent support for refugees and displaced people, as well as being available for the service of the elderly, the sick, and the injured.

The 24 Daughters of Charity come from three separate Provinces – the Province of Slovakia, the Province of Krakow, and the Province of Chelmno-Poznan - all of whom have communities in Ukraine where they serve people in need. They have declared their wish to stay and support the people of Ukraine as the devastation from the invasion worsens and people flee.

Our prayers are with the Daughters and everyone effected by the war in Ukraine.
