Searching for Consensus: Surveying Social Care in England

In June 2024, we launched our report on adult social care in England. Searching for Consensus came about following discussions with our member charities, as well as with members of our Vincentian Family.

We conducted a large-scale survey of more than 200 social care providers in England, asking questions on a wide variety of topics, from rates of pay for staff through to their views on government policy announcements.

The final report analyses these findings and presents a series of recommendations on funding, recruitment, and retention of staff.
